How buyers in Lebanon and Europe found a Russian firewood supplier

Drova Nevy delivers firewood locally. After it added an English-language site, buyers abroad began finding it too. Here’s what the figures show by country.

Drova Nevy built its business delivering firewood around Saint Petersburg. Its English-language pages gave buyers abroad a way to find the company and ask about wholesale orders.

Where did visitors come from?

Visitors from Lebanon triggered a contact goal in 50% of eight visits. The figures were 19.2% of 26 visits from Germany, 14.3% of seven from Türkiye, 13.3% of 15 from the Netherlands and 10% of 30 from Finland. For comparison, the rate for Russia was 7.5% across 6,085 visits.

Contact rates were higher in some overseas markets, but the samples were small. In Lebanon, for example, four visits with a contact action were enough to produce a 50% rate. Some visitors found the supplier through AI assistants.

What do wholesale buyers need to know?

  1. Wood species, charcoal particle size, ash content and moisture content.
  2. Packaging options, from small retail bags to bulk bags.
  3. Minimum order size and how much fits in a shipping container.
  4. Delivery terms and customs documents.

Publishing those details gives buyers something concrete to check and AI assistants a source they can cite.
