IWH is an Istanbul company that supplies spare parts for marine, mining and power-generation diesel engines. Its site, iwh.com.tr, is in English and aimed at buyers abroad. It launched in June 2026. The numbers below come from Yandex Metrica and Google Search Console as of 28 October 2026.
What the reports showed
- Visits by month: June 57, July 200, August 350, September 339, October (to the 28th) 413. Total 1,359.
- Search engines brought 482 visits: Google 441 (91%), Yandex 24, Bing 17.
- AI assistants brought 59 visits: ChatGPT 53, Gemini 4, Perplexity 1, Doubao 1.
- Google Search Console, last three months: 378 clicks, 13.7k impressions, average position 19.5.
Which IWH pages did ChatGPT visitors find?
A buyer looking for a part usually knows the engine brand and may already have a delivery destination in mind. IWH has a page for each engine brand, so a buyer following a citation can check the fit and ask about delivery.
IWH also identifies its location, explains what it supplies and distinguishes genuine parts from OEM alternatives. Those details help buyers assess a supplier before they request a quote.
Where the site could improve
- At the time of this study, the site ran on Tilda and had neither an llms.txt file nor FAQ markup. ChatGPT was already sending visitors. Any benefit from adding either feature would need to be measured separately.
- Google reported an average position of 19.5. The query-level report shows which terms already appear near the top and which need work.
- Yandex accounted for 24 visits during the same period.
What it means for exporters
AI assistants accounted for 59 of 1,359 visits, about 4%. For a B2B exporter, the next question is whether those visits lead to quotes and paid orders. The CRM can show what happened after the first contact.
The numbers are updated monthly on the case page.
